Occupational Therapists’ Perceptions of Intraprofessional Collaboration When Working with Young Children Aged Birth to 3 Years

چکیده
Background: Birth to 3 years of age is a critical period in child’s development, and occupational therapy intervention during this can serve many purposes. While pediatric therapists may be working different settings with specialties, the foundational knowledge all possess provides common lens through which they approach treatment. Intraprofessional collaboration considered best practice, as it not uncommon for young children receive services by more than one therapist, practice setting at same time.
